Novak Djokovic faces Casper Rudd in the French Open men’s final with history at Roland Garros.
Djokovic is aiming to win a men’s record 23rd Grand Slam title and overtake Rafael Nadal for the most successful on-court record of the Spaniard’s career.
With the victory, Djokovic became the oldest French Open champion in history and the first player to win each of the four Grand Slam titles at least three times.
Rudd has reached his third Grand Slam final and second French Open final but the Norwegian, who was beaten in straight sets by Nadal last year, admits he is once again the underdog.
“Novak is going into his 23rd year and I’m going into my first tournament. It’s a big difference,” Rudd said. Here’s everything you need to know.
