A man and a dog were sailing on the beach of Sanibel Island Hurricane Helen approaches Florida They were rescued by the Coast Guard on Thursday.

The unnamed man was about 25 miles off Sanibel Island when his 36-foot sailboat malfunctioned and the Coast Guard began taking on water. He said On social media.

The man and dog were brought to Southwest Florida International Airport, where they met with emergency services, the Coast Guard said. The agency said the pair were “reportedly in good medical condition”.
