2024 NFL schedule released: Live updates ahead of tonight’s full announcement

The NFL’s full regular-season schedule will be announced Wednesday, and will have complete, over-the-top coverage from the league’s network and broadcasters, including ESPN2. Before Wednesday arrived, football fans got some appetite as some games were formally announced.

The 2024 NFL schedule will be released Wednesday at 8pm ET on NFL Network and ESPN2. The three-hour broadcast will be hosted by Rich Eisen and Colin Wolff, with appearances by Maurice Jones-Drew, Michael Robinson and Cynthia Frelund.

    Netflix has jumped into the fray with a pair of Christmas games. The NFL announced Wednesday a partnership that will include Christmas games on Netflix for the next three years. The Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, had a regular season game and a playoff game last season. ESPN+ got one game last season, when the Atlanta Falcons played the Jacksonville Jaguars in London in Week 4, and another exclusive game this season.

    It doesn’t matter that it’s only May. The NFL released the full schedule of holiday games for the 2024 season on Wednesday night.

    Old traditions, such as the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions, play on Thanksgiving, but in recent years the offerings have expanded to include games on Black Friday and Christmas Day.
