As Deadpool, Wolverine and Ant-Man, Taylor Swift was ready for some more football on Sunday.
More on the Marvel stars in a moment.
As much expected/speculated, Swift was in the crowd Sunday night at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, cheering on tight end Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they play on the road against the New York Jets.
Swift, who recently learned of Kells and is sparking the creativity of brand marketers everywhere, showed up on the NBC broadcast about 30 minutes before Blake Lively played with Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds (of “Deadpool” fame) and Sophie. Turner.
Other stars photographed at the game include “Free Guy” director Shawn Levy, Reynolds and Hugh Jackman (Wolverine of the “X-Men” movies), Paul Rudd (“Ant-Man”) and their Sunday absentee “Successor” Well, actor Jeremy Strong.
Last week, Swift sat next to Kelce’s mother, Donna, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to watch the team’s 41-10 victory over the Chicago Bears. After the game, the “Terrible Summer” singer left the field with Kelce.
Anticipation of the 12-time Grammy winner’s reappearance at this weekend’s game has driven ticket prices up more than 40%, according to online marketplace Digbig.
Swift’s NFL interest has paid off in more ways than one. Sales of Kelce’s jersey were “up almost 400%” on Monday, Fanatics previously told CNN.
Even television ratings saw a boost. Last weekend’s game was “heavily female demographic” according to various age groups Variety.
Final score Chiefs 23 – 20 over Jets.
With Swift in the audience, everyone was a hit.
