Mega Millions $476M jackpot winning ticket sold in NY

A Mega Millions ticket holder matched all six numbers to win the lottery’s $476 million jackpot Friday night, striking gold at an NYC convenience store.

The winning numbers are 23, 27, 41, 48, and 51 Mega Ball 22. Megaclear 2x.

Tickets sold at Liberty Beer & Convenience in Ozone Park, Queens, According to the New York Lotteryand the 13th largest prize in lottery history.

The cash option is estimated at $253.1 million since the convenience store will receive $10,000 for selling the ticket.

According to the lottery, hopeful millionaires have 302,575,350 chances to hit the Mega Millions jackpot.

Two tickets — one in Illinois and one in Massachusetts — won $1 million each with five white balls.

Seventeen tickets for the $10,000 prize, including one from New York, matched the Mega Ball with four numbers.

This is the first Mega Millions jackpot winner since the $31 million winning ticket was sold in Massachusetts on January 31.

The win in Massachusetts capped a record month for the lottery on Jan. 13, when a Maine gas station sold a $1.35 billion ticket to win the jackpot four times, including the second-biggest winner in Lotto history.

Jerson Garcia of the Bronx won $20 million four days later on January 17.

The next draw is set for April 18th, with the current starting pot set at $20 million.
