Jamie Foxx is recovering from an undisclosed “medical issue” on Tuesday, according to a social media post by the movie star’s daughter.
“We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical issue yesterday,” actress Corinne Foxx posted to him. Instagram account On Wednesday.
While the 55-year-old’s daughter did not elaborate on his exact medical condition, she said he received “great care” after the swift action and “he is already on the road to recovery.”
It’s unclear what kind of symptoms Fox suffered during the incident or if he was hospitalized.
Fox, 55, began his career as a comedian. He was an actor in the TV show “In Living Color” and later, starred in his own comedy “The Jamie Foxx Show”. Before long, the talented artist had starred in several films, winning an Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of singer Ray Charles in the 2005 biographical musical drama “Ray.”
The celebrity’s daughter added, “We know how loved he is and we appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy at this time.
